Adding Signature to your Assessments
Some of your assessments might require you to add a signature to make sure that the assessment that you have submitted is your own work. You will need to sign the declaration of authenticity. To add a signature in your word document, you can either:
Sign in a piece of paper and scan and crop and insert into your word document.
Draw on a Paint program or an online tool and insert it into word document.
Here we will explore the third option.
For Windows devices
Open Paint program. Press the windows button and type Paint.
Select the pen option.
Draw your signature.
Crop the signature. First select the signature with the Select button and click on Crop button to crop it.
Save the signature.
Select insert on the word document.
Select ‘This device’ and insert your signature picture.
Hence you have inserted your signature.
For Apple devices
Go to pixlr.com/e or other online drawing platforms.
Create an image and select the white background color.
Select a drawing tool and draw your signature.
Save your image and download it.
On the Insert tab, click Pictures > Picture from File.
Browse to the picture you want to insert, select it, and then click Insert.
Click the picture to show the Picture Format tab.
On the Picture Format tab, click Crop, and then crop the signature.
Hence you have added your signature in your assessment.
